Go behind the scenes to discover farming systems that reduce pollution, restore stream ecosystems, enhance wildlife, and sequester carbon.

Join local farmer Roger Rohrer to learn about farming systems that reduce pollution, restore stream ecosystems, enhance wildlife and sequester carbon. A walking tour will show conservation practices, forest restoration and native grass plantings. In 2018, the small stream on this farm was removed from DEP’s “Impaired Waters List” – a rare and difficult achievement!

Participant Safety

Participants are required to wear masks/face coverings and maintain a social distance of 6 feet from other participants, but it should be noted that the Lancaster Conservancy and its partners are not responsible for the behavior of participants regarding those requirements.

All participants will be required to sign a waiver when they arrive at the event.
