Ecology and Management
Wildcat Bluff is managed for its passive recreation being of highest and best use. A variety of native wildflowers and shrubs planted around this special preserve provides for an abundance of wildlife. Invasive kudzu and stands of tree of heaven, host tree of the invasive spotted lanternfly, are under management. Bald eagles, osprey, and other migratory birds can be observed overlooking the Susquehanna River as frequent visitors in York County.

Wildcat Run is a direct tributary to the Susquehanna River.
